The Step OFF - Step On® Push Button Quick Release Upgrade
Whether you're looking for another layer of security in the backcountry, dealing with mobility issues, or you're smashing laps and are done with squatting down to your heel in that sea of ski pole tips known as the lift line, the Step OFF is the answer.

OFF As Fast As ON.
Step On® bindings are unrivalled for their speed and convenience when it comes to getting your boot locked into your binding. With the Step OFF Step ON® push button Quick Release, OFF is as fast as ON.

Stop Squatting To Your Ankle To Release Your Binding
Instead, simply reach down to the top of your highback, push the Step OFF Quick Release button, and step out of your binding.

Compatible With Every Brand and Model of Step ON®
No matter what version of Step ON® that you ride, the Step OFF is the perfect upgrade, compatible with every size and model of Step On® from Burton, Union and Nitro.

New Level of Backcountry Security
The Step OFF was originally conceived to be a quick release in case you end up in a tree well or fall in a weird position and are unable to reach your heel. All you need to do is punch the button and lift your heel and you're out. It doesn't get any easier. We've never experienced it but we've seen a crust layer push open a front binding by pushing up the binding release lever. When we designed the Step OFF we swapped the way the lever works from a pull up to a push down action so that if you run into a crusty day, the crust is actually pushing you binding to lock instead of open. Once you ride with your Step ON® bindings with the Step OFF Push Button Quick Release, you'll never go back.

Invented by Hall of Fame snowboarder Ken Achenbach and 2010 Halfpipe World Champion Justin Lamoureux, the Step OFF makes it as quick and easy to get out of your Step ON® bindings as it was to get into them.

INSTALLATION & USAGE

INSTALLING THE L'HIVER
Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the release lever from your binding. Hold the T-Nut at the back with your finger and install the Step OFF l'Hiver in it's place. Unlike the lever you just took off, the Step OFF L'Hiver points back to the heel.

POSITIONING THE QUICK RELEASE ARM
Place the stick on arm guide on your highback in a position that still allows for the push down motion that activates the release mechanism.

RELEASING YOUR BOOT
To activate the release mechanism, push down on the release button at the same time you lift the heel of your boot. Do not hold down the release button as you pull your boot out of the binding as it was designed not to release in this scenario.Simply push down, let go, and lift your heel out of your binding in ne smooth motion.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Rotate the release button in either direction until you have it at the desired height. If you have your Step OFF positioned above your highback down when getting on the chair.
